About the Artist

crystal schrader

By day, I'm an Art Department Coordinator in the Hollywood TV industry. I graduated with honors in 3 years from the USC School of Cinematic Arts where I majored in Cinema-Television Production with a focus in production design and fine arts.

I am fascinated by the experience of being in a space, feeling its atmosphere, and noting its effects on me. When I work in two dimensions, I similarly want to present a world that one would want to step into. In my fluid abstract paintings I explore the interplay of color, tone, scale, and texture in creating a sense of balance and depth.

I’ve taken my fine art paintings and digitally created decorative textures for home decor, bringing my love of spacial design full circle.
