About the Artist

Karen Kurycki is CMYKaren. She’s a designer/illustrator living in Jacksonville, FL and has been experimenting with watercolor since her days at Kent State University. Karen likes the unpredictability and surprises of watercolor. Her view of the world is seen as humorous, quirky, slightly off "normal", which she tries to communicate through her artwork. In her spare time, Karen enjoys collecting '80s paraphernalia, creating custom t-shirts for every home Jaguars game, singing karaoke, or spending time volunteering (Jacksonville Chapter of AIGA or mentoring high school students with Discover Design).
