About the Artist

gneural

Debbie Clapper is an artist and designer residing in Boulder, Colorado. She was born (1980) and raised in Rocky River, Ohio, but has called Colorado her home since 1998. Debbie is known for her steady freehand artwork, created without the aid of a ruler, straight edge, or any other sort of measuring tool. Drawing nearly every day since the age of 9, Debbie has mastered the art of getting her abstract visions from her brain, to her hand, to the paper (or whatever medium she is creating on), with as little in between stages as possible. Her techniques range from hand drawn originals to paintings, to printmaking to digital artwork with the goal of breaking out of the need for perceived perfection in order to give way to the beauty that is found in realistic designs. Analog. Digital. In Debbie's mind, there are no limitations.
