About the Artist

Kerrie Satava is a freelance artist, illustrator and surface pattern designer, who believes that exploring the world and surrounding yourself with art and beauty everyday feeds the soul. She remembers even as a child finding great pleasure in collecting and creating vibrant artistic illustrations, objects and spaces. Today you can still feel this early love of color, texture, pattern and joy infused in each piece she creates. Kerrie loves to create playful modern designs and typography that embrace their quirky handmade beginnings and beautiful organic imperfections. It is this fun, fresh style that has lead to her work being featured in various publications, including Real Simple magazine. Kerrie has a Bachelors of Environmental Design and Architecture from the University of Colorado and currently lives in Seattle, WA with her husband, three amazing kids, two rambunctious dogs and a half-ton vintage Vandercook printing press.
