About the Artist

restudio designs

Jessica Harrington is a native Rhode Islander, currently residing in Boston. She spent most of her life traveling around New England, spending summers at the beach and winters in the mountains – which is a main source of her inspiration. A practicing Interior Architect, she holds both a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Fine Arts in the field. Inspired by the places she loves, Jessica uses typography to create bold images of iconic landmarks and geography. The images almost become interactive as the viewer searches for words that hold some personal meaning. In this manner, the words help to create a sentimental connection to the image that shapes alone cannot achieve.
